Cropping a Selection

Any selection that is a square, rectangle, or polygon can be used to crop the regions of other selections. Let's take an example where we want to get all TM images in Peru and Colombia between the equator and ten degrees south.

Select Countries: From the "Place Tab", first select the country for Peru. Then click on the "Add Another" button to add Colombia. Once done, the selection should look like the image on the right.
Add Lat/Long Selection: Since we only want an area between 0 and 10S, create a lat/long selection that contains this region. For example, add a lat/long selection between 10S 90W to 0 60W.
Crop: Once the Lat/Long selection has been made, click on the "Crop Selection" button to get the new selection shown on the right.
