Overview

This is a special collection of GLCF and NASA-derived data for areas affected by Hurricane Katrina, which hit coastal Mississippi and Louisiana on August 29, 2005.

The following two products are based in the SRTM 2000 dataset(unfinished), scences were used:

The Final Mosaic is projected in the UTM 16 zone.

This map is based in the DEMs provided by the USGS trough the National Elevation Data (NED), with a horizontal resolution of +/-10m.
